I haven't lifted weights before, I'm scared of hurting myself.
I will start you slowly and get you moving well before adding weight. Bodyweight exercise and mobility, core stability is the best way to ensure you are safe while lifting.
I know what to do, I just need to do it.
Personal Trainers aren't just there to ensure proper technique, we are also there to motivate and encourage. I have been teaching fitness for four years, I build a rapport with my clients and keep you motivated whilst keeping you safe.
We will agree the format, duration and frequency of your sessions with me. We then set up an agreed date and time for our first session. I can train you at your home or at mine. I have equipment, space and parking, I am based in Clifton.
I teach good form when lifting weights. So expect lower impact resistance workouts. Starting with lighter weights, teaching you how to lift safely and then gradually increasing the weight as you get stronger.
I will include a warm up at the beginning of the session, to mobilise your joints and a cool down to stretch you out at the end of the session.
I will give you a guidance on how to workout with between sessions. Tailored to your fitness level. I also do online Gentle Yoga, Dumbbells at Dawn classes and a monthly Yoga Workshop. You can also book for a weekly Gentle Yoga Class at my home studio, Haven.
Can you help me with my nutrition?
